Activity Description

2002

  • Techniques of Field Sampling and Analysis

Training in techniques of field sampling including studies about the biogeochemistry of river basis has been provided to students at UNIR and ULBRA in Ji-Paraná to increase their competitiveness for admission in Graduate programs.

Nei Kavaguichi Leite is an example of this setup. After receiving training for a year in biogeochemistry, he was admitted at the CENA-USP Masters PRogram. Upon completion of his Masters, Kavaguichi will return to ULBRA, in Jip-Paraná to supervise the new chemistry laboratory installed in collaboration with UNIR.
