    Linda Deegan and Christopher Neill (Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole Research Center, MA) sponsored a visit by two science journalists to Rondônia and Santarém resulting in this article, published on The Boston Globe, on February 15, 2000.

  • Earth and Sky, a National Public Radio Science Program

    Christopher Neill (Marine Biological Laboratory) recorded three segments for this program that covered issues regarding methane emissions after forest clearing for pasture; nutrient movement from deforested lands to streams and the potential consequences for regional biogeochemistry of more intensive agriculture in the Amazon Basin.

  • Balanço de nitrogênio em microbacias pareadas (floresta Vs pastagem) no estado de Rondônia, Brasil

    Adriana Lucia Castellanos Bonilla did fieldwork and laboratory analysis for her Masters thesis at CENA under the supervision of Dr. Alex Krusche (CENA-USP). The thesis defense is scheduled for March 2005.
