Dataset Abstract:

Digital soil map of the Ji-Parana river basin. Soil units were derived from a 1:500,000 map from EMBRAPA, manually digitized. Soil properties, cation content (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+ and K+) and soil texture (clay, sand and silt content) maps, were created using the SIGTERON data set (Cochrane and Cochrane, 1998), using 1041 points with soil profile analysis and the Arc-GIS 8.1 Geostatistical Analyst extension. Data are provided as ArcView shapefiles: soils.prj soils.sbx soils.shx soils.dbf soils.sbn soils.shp
