Dataset Abstract:

Rondonia land cover maps, classified using a decision tree incorporating spectral fractions as input parameters.
Class values and names are reported in the header. *.ful.recls files are unmasked files. *.ful_mask.cls files are masked files (rock/savanna, water, and edge masks have been applied). 9 classes mapped: 1 rock 2 forest 3 pasture 4 green pasture 5 second growth forest 6 water 7 urban 8 burn (Can be merged with pasture and green pasture) 9 cloud 50 = Rock/Savanna; mapped separately 255 = Edge Period covered: Ariquemes: 1975-1999 Ji Parana: 1978-1999 Luiza: 1986-1999 Data files are provided for each of the three study areas in ENVI Standard format, each with an accompanying header file, and can be viewed with any ENVI viewer.
