Spectral fractions derived from spectral mixture analysis for five locations in Rondonia, using Landsat TM time series georectified to INPE digital PRODES, SAD-69, UTM zone 20 south.
Data scaled from floating point to byte:
Fractions scaled 100=0%, 200=100% (ie, DN= frac*100+100).

Fraction image outputs from spectral mixture analyses of five Landsat scenes are provided and organized into subdirectories for each location:

Porto Velho (P232, R66), Ariquemes (P232, R67), Ji-Parana (P231, R67), Luiza (P231, R68), and Cacoal (P230, R68).



Each fraction image has been rescaled to byte data such that 100=0% and 200=100%.

The RMS error image is rescaled by a factor of 10.

As an example, a pixel that has fractions of 20%, 50%, and 20% with an RMS error of 3.2

will be displayed with values of 120, 150, 130 and an RMS of 32.



Each scene/date contains the following files:



*-em0.pic -- fraction image for endmember 0 (shade)

*-em0.pic.hdr -- header

*-em1.pic -- fraction image for endmember 1 (non-photosynthetic vegetation, NPV)

*-em1.pic.hdr

*-em2.pic -- fraction image for endmember 2 (green vegetation)
