These LBA-Air-ECO proposed investigations were first reviewed and selected by NASA and Brazil's Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT). Then they were scientifically reviewed and recommended for consideration by the LBA Scientific Steering Committee, and were pending approval of the Brazilian government. Approval was not received within the time available to provide support for the field activities.
