Continuous On-Site Measurements

DESCRIPTION

Continuous measurements throughout the period. The measurements include: 1. Tree diameter increments, to be taken once monthly. Estimated time: 5 mornings per month. 2. LAI measurements using LAI-2000, to be taken once monthly. Estimated time: 5 afternoons per month. 3. Dead leaves collection, drying and weighting, to be taken once monthly. Estimated time: 5 days (field time) + 3 days (lab time) per month.

Pará Western (Santarém): km 67 Primary Forest Tower Site
      Walk-up Canopy Access Tower - 45m guyed metal platform tower
In addition to the walk-up tower,we will be doing work at four transects we set up in June.
