DESCRIPTION

As part of the Low Level Jet field experiment funded by FAPESP (Brasil), we have established a site for continuos operation of pilot balloons, radiossondes and digital pluviometers. W e need a Toyota 4x4 truck to operate at the site nearby the PArque Zoobotanico, at the Campus of the Federal University of Rio Branco. This car will be used for the scientsist, technicians and students from INPE and USP that wiull be working on doing upper-air measurements in Rio Branco. It will also help on the selection of sites to deploy digital pluviometers in Rio Branco, together with technicians for the deployment and studnets for the data collectiuo. We perefer to reqiuest the Toyota truck from Ji-Parana since the one from Rio Brancoi is used by the LBA people at the University of ACre. We need the truck for the December 3-24 2002 and between January 4-February 18 2003.
