DESCRIPTION

Soil air sampling in a soil texture gradient at TNF - We are going to measure N2O (mixing ratio and isotopic composition) from surface flux, tower at Km 83 and 67 and in soil profiles at 4 soil types at Tapajos nationa Forest. - We will collect N2O mixing ratios and isotopic composition along a soil texture gradient. We will also measure 222Rn in the soil pits. We will also collect soil samples for water content. We will collect soil air from probes placed in soil. We will collect soil air from the two tower sites (Km 67 and Km 83) to measure N2O stable isotopes inside the canopy during the nightime.
